This project represents a series of automotive marketplace website designs, where I designed five completely different car-selling platforms, each with its own unique UX strategy, visual language, and design system.
Although the domain remained the same (car buying & selling), each product solved a different business problem, targeted a different user mindset, and followed a separate design approach from clean conversion-focused layouts to premium, data-heavy, and scalable system-driven experiences.
Project Scope
I designed complete websites from scratch, covering all core and supporting pages:
- Home
- Car Listings (New / Used)
- Product Detail / Single Car Page
- Comparison Pages
- Buy & Sell Flows
- Shop & Dealer Pages
- FAQs
- Privacy & Policy
- Contact Us
Each theme was treated as a standalone product, not a visual variation.
Design Approach
For every version, I followed a full UX process:
- Understanding the Business Model
Each platform had a different goal conversion, comparison, premium branding, or scalability. - User Flow & Information Architecture
Defined how users browse, compare, shortlist, and convert. - Wireframing & Layout Exploration
Created wireframes to validate structure and usability before visual design. - UI Design & Visual Direction
Designed high-fidelity interfaces with distinct typography, spacing, color systems, and components. - Design System Creation
Built reusable components and layout systems tailored to each product’s needs. - Responsive Design
Ensured consistency across desktop and responsive breakpoints.
Key UX Focus Areas
- Fast vehicle discovery & filtering
- Clear comparison and decision-making
- Trust-building elements for buyers & sellers
- Scalable layouts for future features
- Clean hierarchy for data-heavy pages
Each website solves a different UX problem, even though the industry is the same.
